- سُر سھڻي جَي الست ارواح، کامڻ پچڻ جو بيت
اَلَستُ اَرِواحَنِ کي، جَڏھِن چَيائُون،
مِيثاقا ميھارَ سين، لَڌِيُون مُون لائُون،
سو موٽي ڪِيئَن پاھُون، جو مَحفُوظا مَحڪُمُ ٿِئو.

اَلَسْتُ بِرَبِّکُمْ قَالُوْ بَلىٰ جَڎِہْ چَيَاءٌ﮶
مِيْثَاَقَا مِھَارَ س﮼ لَڌِيٌ مُنْ لَاءٌ﮶
سُوْ مُوْٽٖيْ ڪِيَ پَاہٌ جُوْ مَحْفُوْظَا مَحْڪُمُ ٿِئُوْ﮶
ھِي بيت ٻين سھيڙيندڙن وٽ ڏِسو
TRANSLITERATION
सिन्धी देवनागिरी
अलस्तु” अरिवाहनि खे। जडि॒हीं चयाऊं।
मीसाक़ा मेहार सें। लधियूं मूं लाऊं।
सो मोटी कीअं पाहूं। जो महफ़ूज़ा मह्कुम थिओ।
ROMAN SINDHI
Alast'u arwaahan'ay khhay, jadd'hee'n chayaaoo'n,
Meesaaqaa Mehaar'a see'n ladhiyoo'n moo'n laaoo'n,
So motti kee'en paahoo'n, jo maHfoozaa maHkum'u thi'o.
TRANSLATIONS
Allah enquired from the souls: "Am I not your Lord?" Suhni had union with Mehar in view of that covenant. How can it be reversed now when it was so decreed even earlier than the 'Loh Mahfuz' (The Book of Destiny), and on that account it was not recorded therein?
And when your Lord produced from Adam's children, out of their loins, their offsprings and made them witnesses against themselves by saying: "Am I not your Lord? They said: "Yes, we bear witness. (172, Al-Airaf).
نخست از عشق او زادم بآخر دل بدو دادم
چوں میوہ زاید از شاخی بداں شاخ اندر آویزم
(Roomi)
I was born of His love first; I gave Him my heart later. When the fruit springs from the bough, on that bough it hangs.
When souls are asked, "Am I not your Lord"?
Suhni was then wedded to Mehar, so it was,
Can any one avert what is in fate ordained?
When He enquired of souls 'Am I not your God,'
Since that Covenant I have been in wedlock with Mehar,
How could one fly in the face of destiny?
قول قرار کیتے سی روحاں نال خُدا دے جس دن
میہنوال سنگ رشتا جُڑیا میں برنائی اوس دن
جو بھگاں روح لکھیا میرے اوہی مِلنا مینوں
یاد ہے مجھ کو عالم ارواح
جاوداں میرے عہد و پیماں میں
ہوں مہینوال کی ازل سے میں
لوح محفوظ میرے ارماں ہیں
سُنی تھی جب سب روحوں نے، وہ آوازِ الست،
عہد کیا تھا میہر سے تب، پائی تھی اُلفت،
ڈوبنا تھی قسمت، کیسے ٹل سکتی تھی۔
ھِن سُر جي راڳ بابت
سھڻي: شاستري سنگيت ۾ ماروا ٺاٺ جي راڳڻي آھي. ھيءَ راڳڻي عام طور تي رات جي پيون پھرن ۾ ڳائي ويندي آھي. سرن جي لحاظ کان آڏو، شڌا آھي.

آروھا: سا گا ما ڌا ني سا
آوروھا: سا ني ڌا گا ما ڌا گا ما گا ري سا
ھن راڳڻيءَ جو وادي سر ”ڌا“ جڏھن تہ سموادي سر گا آھي. ھن راڳڻيءَ ۾ ري کان سواءِ سڀ سر تيور ۾ آھن.
